Oh man I had a lot of ups and downs
this week but it was pretty awesome! First of all I was in Tijuana today!! It
was awesome we had to go down there just for the morning to get stuff down for
our visas. I think I have to do it every six weeks but not positive. Guess who I saw....Hermana Muir!!!! Let’s just
say we were freaking out a little bit haha!! Seriously it was the best thing
ever I was dying it was so much fun!! I saw a few people from my zone and stuff
from the MTC so it was just SOOOOOOO nice to see some familiar faces. Sadly
Hermana Nielsen and Hermana Eye are going next week so I didn’t get to see
them. But talking to Hermana Muir was the best thing ever! That girl kills me!
But yep now we are back in good old Ensenada ready to do work. Tijuana was
pretty classy with people selling luchador masks and ponchos and I didn’t get
to see much of the city but I LOVED it! Oh I love my mission! This is totally
the place for me! So guess what I got letters and packages this week because
the mission president came for a mission conference! They want us to send
everything all letters and packages and anything to the San Ysidro California
address!!!! Everybody wipe the Mexico address from your mind and change it on
my blog and stuff if you can because I was misled and they never want the Americans
to use that haha! And guess what I found a white lady in church from California
and she’s going to send my letters to you when she goes back to America so be
excited to finally get my Christmas letters!! Ok I got the package today from
the ward and tell them thank you A MILLION TIMES!! I haven’t even looked at all
of it and its crazy nice and they’re just so sweet!!! Thank you so much Kierstin and Sean I also got my Christmas present form you!! Thank
you I love you! Oh and happy birthday tomorrow Sean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I
only got letters from Jenna, one from mom, and one from dad. So if anyone else
sent one it’s probably lost in the Mexican mail haha. Thank you so much
everyone!!
So the conference with the mission
president was good! It was nice to finally meet him really and have my first
interview with him. He doesn’t speak much English but he’s really nice I liked
him a lot. He does this thing every conference when four people have to go up
front and give parts of the lesson and everyone like critiques it. Before the
conference I turned to my companion and said if I have to go up there I’m going
to die....so of course I did. It was terrifying, but everyone told me I did
really well for the amount of time that I’ve been here! I loved talking with
all the other missionaries that were at the conference.
Oh my so I’m totally graceful. The
other day Hermana Ortiz and I were late so we were booking it and it was dark
outside and I didn’t see this little hill in the ground. I totally turfed
it!!!! Like I’m talking it looked like a funny fail video that I would watch at
home! It was like I was head first diving into second base except I was on
concrete haha! Hermana Ortiz and I still laugh like crazy whenever we pass that
part of the town.
I had to give a talk in church
yesterday. That was pretty scary too, but Hermana Ortiz had corrected my
spelling so I had to look down and read straight from the talk a lot of the
time, but oh well. I survived!
The other day we were at Carolinas
house and she was trying to imitate all of us and I don’t even know how to
explain it but she is the funniest little girl on the planet! She can always
make me laugh like a crazy person whenever we teach her! Well the computer is
about to kick me off so I have to go but I love you all so much and know that I’m
really happy! The Spanish is coming a million times better...still hard and it’s
not perfect but it’s much better than week one. I love you all and sorry but no
pictures again this week. Give up hope haha. One day I’ll send home my SD card.
Love you all!!
