First off we had a mothers day party in the ward and it was so much fun!! We had a carne asada and ate lots of tacos and they played music and some of it was in English and I was just so happy! We werent allowed to dance, but they legitly know how to dance here and the whole ward went all out on the dance floor and it was so fun to just watch everyone! Then of course talking to all of you yesterday was the best part!! I couldnt stop smiling last night. Oh most random thing ever. So saturday they told us we were going to be teaching a training leadership meeting thing for the priesthood in the church on sunday and to print off this paper and they would help us know what we were doing. So we show up to the church and they dont teach us anything and next thing i know theyre like, ok Hermanas youre teaching the ward Alisos. So we had to teach this meeting to the bishop and all of the big wigs in the ward and we had no idea what we were doing so that was fun haha. Oh well we survived!
So I hit my 6 month mark last Tuesday!!!!!!!! Woo hoo!!!!! So all of the Elders always burn a tie at 6 months and we dont have ties so we burned a pair of my tights that I had bought for 12 pesos! They kind of just melted and looked like poo and smelled bad haha but woo Viva Mexico!!!! 6 months!!
Hmm nothing else too exciting. Theres a member in the ward who had her birthday the same day as you, mom, so we went to her house and ate tacos and cake and that was fun stuff.
We should be having our baptism for Angie this wednesday!!! Then hopefully Manuel next Wednesday so things are looking good! Oh man we had some good spiritual experiences with Angie and helping her feel ready for baptism because she was really reluctant for a while but she really felt the spirit and here we are getting ready for her baptism. I seriously just love the people here!! I say that all the time but its true. I love you all so much and cant wait to talk to you again on Christmas haha! I know this church is true and Im happy to be a missionary here in the best mission in the world!
