´MURICA 7/7/14

Hola to everyone in good old ´murica!!! How was everyone´s 4th of july???? I was missing fireworks and parties and everything!! But it´s ok I dressed like the American flag with my red, white, and blue. And I even had an american companion that day (Hermana Lance, we´re from the same generation in teh MTC) because we had intercambios! I found I´m proud to be an American on my ipod (I honestly don´t know how I ended up with that song on my ipod) so I made a music video that day!
But yeah pretty much I´m even more Mexican now because I´m learning to negotiate with the bus and taxi drivers here to give us rides for cheaper. Usually my companion always did it, but when we had intercambios the people totally gave us discounts when i did it on my own.
There was some people this week that were a little sassier than usual, but we did find some great new investigators. We found this old lady named Rosina. She´s the cutest thing I´ve ever seen! She doesn´t understand a word I´m saying, but she´s so funny and I love her to death and she promised us she would go to church this next week. We also starting teaching this guy named Hector who doesn´t really believe in God. EVERYONE in Mexico believes in God it seems like, so it´s different trying to teach him. But we´re actually way excited about him becuase he legitimately has the desire to believe in God and wants to learn, and he went to church yesterday, so we´re going to beat him with the spirit from all sides haha! Well that was pretty much all of the stories I can think of, sorry if it wasn´t too exciting. I´m still loving Tijuana and loving being a missionary! People are honestly changing their lives and I´m happy to be able to be here and be a part of it, and see it happen! Viva Mexico!!!
Oh and this picture is of the sisters in our zone who we had the intercambios with. Love you all!!!
